Comments
The comments section is one of several parts of order-specific data. Comments can be entered by a user in a free-form text box on the Cart Detail page.  Comments cannot be required. The Comment data is displayed on the Order View page, as well as on the Order Report.
 
Create Billing Address
With this permission assigned, a buyer user can create and manage his own billing addresses during the check-out process.
 
Create Shipping Address
With this permission assigned, a buyer user can create and manage his own shipping addresses during the check-out process.
 
Date Needed (optional & required)
The Date Needed (Optional) permission allows users to enter the date by which they need to receive an ordered product for each line item on the Cart Detail page. Users can type in a date or use the calendar drop-down.  The date needed cannot be chosen for a date which has already occurred.
NOTE: If Date Needed is required, select the Date Needed (Required) permission. If Date Needed is not required, select the Date Needed (Optional) permission.
 
Edit First/Last Name on Pre-Configured Billing Address
With this permission assigned, administrative users can create billing addresses on behalf of buyer users and allow buyer users to edit only the First Name and Last Name portions of those addresses when placing orders.
 
Edit First/Last Name on Pre-Configured Shipping Address
With this permission assigned, administrative users can create shipping addresses on behalf of buyer users and allow buyer users to edit only the First Name and Last Name portions of those addresses when placing orders.
 
Edit PO
With this permission assigned, a buyer user can enter his own Order ID on the View Cart page when placing an order. If the user placing an order has neither this permission nor the “Allow system-generated PO ID” permission, a system-generated Order ID will be used.
 
Cost Centers
Cost centers are user-entered fields found on the Cart Detail page.  There are several different ways to have users enter cost centers.


The two permissions for showing cost center fields on the Cart Detail page are:
  1. Per Order: allows users to enter a single cost center for an entire order.​​
  2. Per Line Item: allows users to enter different cost centers for each line item in the order.
Cost centers must be added by an administrative user on a per-company basis. Cost centers will show up on the user interface as a dropdown menu. Each cost center can be assigned to a company, group or user.
 
One other option for using cost centers is the Free-Form Cost Center check box. This is used in conjunction with either the Per Order or Per Line Item permission and allows users to enter a cost center via a text box.
 
Cost center options are marked as required for users to enter before moving through the check-out process.
