Checkout Behavior Permissions Overview
Allow System - Generated PO ID:
On its own, this permission does nothing. In conjunction with the “Edit PO ID” permission, it will add a checkbox labeled “Use system-generated ID” after the Order ID field on the View Cart page. Clicking this checkbox enables the user to get a system-generated Order ID instead of having to provide their own.
Ship to Multiple Addresses:
With this permission assigned, a buyer user may select different shipping addresses for each line item on an order.
NOTE: Actual rates shippers do not work with the Ship to Multiple Address functionality.
Send Order Notification to Others:
A buyer user who is assigned this permission will see a text box labeled “Email Order Details to:” below the line item grid on the order confirmation page. The user may place a comma-, semicolon- or space-delimited list of email addresses in this text box prior to clicking the "Submit" button and those email addresses will be included on the Order Receipt email. This functionality will not send emails in an approval scenario.
These additional email addresses will not receive any other emails related to the order.
View Promotions:
This permission allows a Buyer user to enter a Coupon on the checkout page or a Gift Card code on the View Cart page of the checkout process.
