Test Environment

Four51 provides a test environment that exists separately from the production/live environment.  The test database is refreshed nightly with data from production, while the test files (project files, themes, images) have been refreshed weekly on Monday evenings.  With this release, the test files will also be refreshed nightly.  Read the Test Environment article to learn more.

Web Services 

New Web Services include:

  • Product – GenerateMissingVariantInteropIDs 
    Pass in a Product Interop ID and all variants that don't have an interop id will have one automatically set. 

  • Product – GenerateMissingInteropIDs 
    If you call this web service, all products without an interop id will have one automatically set under the entire admin/seller account. 

  • Product – SearchVariantsByProduct 
    Pass in one to many Product Interop IDs and the variant data will be returned for each product. 

  • Product – DeleteCategoryAssignments 
    Allows the ability to delete product to category assignments. 

  • Product – SaveCategoryAssignments 
    Allows the ability to assign products to categories. 

  • Category – Delete 
    Allows the ability to delete categories. 

  • Category – GenerateMissingCategoryInteropIDs 
    Pass in a Buyer Company Interop ID and all categories under that buyer company that do not have an interop id set will have one automatically set. 

  • Category – ListCategoryByCompany 
    Pass in a Buyer Company Interop ID and the category data for all categories under that buyer company will be returned. 

  • Category – Save 
    Allows the ability to save or update categories. 

  • Party – AssignPartyToCategory 
    Allows the ability to assign a company/group/user to a category.

  • Login - Identify User Page
    Custom login from the Identify User page to control users logging in.

Improved Web Services include:

  • Product – Save

    • InteropID, Product ID, Product Name, and Quantity Multiplier are now required fields for new products.

    • If the element is missing, field will not be updated: Product ID, Product Name, Quantity Multiplier, StandardOrders, ReplenishmentOrders, PriceRequests

    • Now validates that at least one order type is present for new products. (will return error Must support one order type): StandardOrders, ReplenishmentOrders, PriceRequests

    • Image elements - If the SmallImage/LargeImage elements are present, but the filename and file elements are missing, then the file is removed appropriately (on production, there would be an unhandled error). 

  • Product – SavePriceSchedules

    • If the element is missing, field will not be updated: RestrictedQuantitySelection, UseCumulativeQuantity, ApplyShipping, ApplySalesTax, PriceBreaks 

  • Product – SaveVariants

    • If the NewInteropID element is present and blank, the InteropID will no longer get updated to blank.
