Buyer Superuser (Catalog)
This permission allows the buyer administrative user to control some product and category related activities.
This permission and functionality is supported on buyer sites that utilize a legacy and is not supported in an OrderCloud 2.0 application.
For buyer sites using a legacy theme, the buyer users can:
- Update categories
- Delete categories
- Assign/unassign products to categories
- Search for products
The user is not able to create categories because they do not have the ability to assign the category to any user/group/company.
Process
The ability to manage categories is located in the Admin section of the buyer interface:
From within this section, the Superuser can edit and delete categories the same way the Distributor Admin can. The Buyer Superuser can also move products within categories and view unassigned products.
