Theme Management

Theme Management

An administrative company may assign themes to its buyers. Administrative companies with theme permissions may also create their own custom themes.  All administrative users are able to assign themes to their buyers from the Edit Company Information page. The list of themes available for assignment is comprised of Four51 shared themes and custom themes made available to you.

All administrative users are able to access the Assign Theme to Buyers section on the sub navigation of the Admin tab. Here you are able to select an available theme name and assign it to one or more of your buyer companies.

Note: These features do not apply to 2.0 applications.  This article only applies to legacy 1.0 Buyer sites.

Administrative users with the ability to create custom themes are able to access the Themes section on the sub navigation of the Admin tab. These administrative users are able to:
  1. Create a new theme:
    1. Creating a new theme name will make that theme available for you to assign it to your buyers. The new theme name will appear in the grid, the default buyer dropdown, the dropdown on the Assign Theme to Buyers page and on the dropdown on the Edit Company Information page. A folder with this theme name will also get created on the FTP site so you are able to manage the theme files.
  2. Manage theme files:
    1. Connect to the FTP server to manage your theme files via an FTP Client
  3. Set the default theme for all new buyers:
    1. The dropdown list is comprised of all Four51 shared themes and any themes you have created.
  4. Delete themes that you have created.
  5. Rename themes that you have created.
  6. Test existing themes.
Test an existing theme by logging in as any buyer and appending ?theme=yourcompanyfolder/themename to the url. For example, http://www.four51.com/ui/customer.aspx?theme=a48e153d-ea81-4624-b15e-4e5cf16b41c7/four51_combo_aquamarine
