Product Pricing

Price schedules are built on the Product Pricing page.  Price schedules can be very simple or very complex depending on your needs.

The Product Pricing page displays a list of available price schedules.

From this page you can:
1.   Create a new price schedule: Click on the “Create a new Price Schedule” link below the list of price schedules.
2.   Delete a price schedule: Click the check-box to the left of the price schedule name and then click the “Delete Selected” link. When the pop-up box appears, confirm that you want to delete the price schedule.

3.   Edit a price schedule: Click the name of the price schedule.

When you create or edit a price schedule, you can set the following properties:
1.   Price Schedule Name: The name appears on the Pricing page. If you have more than one price schedule for a specific order type, you will see this name on the buyer assignment page as well.
2.   Order Type: This can be set when creating a new price schedule but cannot be changed when editing the price schedule.
3.   Apply Sales Tax: Check this box if the product should have sales tax applied when using this price schedule.
4.   Apply Shipping: Check this box if the product should have shipping calculated when using this price schedule.
5.   Quantity Selection:
      a.   Open: Allow the buyer user to type a desired quantity in a free text box.
      b.   Restricted (dropdown): Display a dropdown list of quantities that may be selected. NOTE: The minimum quantity and maximum quantity fields will be hidden when this option is selected.
6.   Add a Price Break: To give a price break for orders over a set quantity, enter the quantity break amount and what the price should be for orders over that quantity. Be sure to click the “Add” link after entering each price break.
7.   Current Price Breaks: The grid displays the quantity and price.The default is Quantity = 1+ and Price = $0. You may delete a price break by clicking the box to the left of the quantity and then clicking the “Delete Selected” link. To set a default price to appear on the Product Details page for the buyer check one box in the Default column.
8.   Calculate breaks based on total order quantity: If you would like to offer the price break for the total quantity of one product on multiple line items in a shopping cart, click the check-box. 
When you have completed the price schedule setup, click the "Save" button.

If you have one price schedule that is used on multiple products, you can use the "Copy To Other Products..." link.

To copy a price schedule to other products:

1.   Confirm you have selected the appropriate price schedule:
      a.   Verify the order type
      b.   Verify the price break(s)
2.   Check the box next to the Product ID of any product(s) to which you would like to copy this price schedule.
3.   Click the “Copy” button.

NOTE: Copying a price schedule will change pricing for all buyers using that order type. Other price schedules currently associated with the product and order type will be replaced with the copied price schedule.
