You may supply your users with the ability to apply a cost center per order or per line item. Likewise, cost centers may be selected from a pre-populated dropdown (created by you) or may be entered in an open text field. If you choose to supply your users with a pre-populated dropdown of cost centers, you may provide a personal cost center list to each user.
Cost centers are an optional feature and are not required by Four51. They are configurable using permissions which allow you to configure some users to use pre-populated cost centers, some to use freeform cost centers, some to not use cost centers at all, or any combination in between.
