A Content Hub Sandbox might become unavailable and show Deleted status in the Sandbox Dashboard. Consequently, in-progress scripts, configuration changes, and development work might no longer be accessible.
To prevent this issue from resulting in permanent data loss, create snapshots regularly for active sandboxes. A snapshot can be created from the ellipsis menu of a running sandbox.
If the deleted sandbox has an available snapshot, restore the sandbox from the Snapshots option in the sandbox UI, which lists snapshots created for that environment.
If no snapshot is available, the sandbox cannot be restored. Regular backups are performed only for tenants and do not include sandbox environments.
Important: The sandbox expiration date cannot be set later than 30 days from the current date. During the 7 days before expiration, the system sends notification alerts. When the expiration date is reached, the sandbox status changes to Expired. The sandbox can still be restored for an additional 30 days by editing its expiration date. After that period ends, the sandbox is permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
