When changing the value of the Shared or Unversioned property of a particular field, every item based on the modified template is converted and the corresponding field values are moved to the appropriate data table in the Sitecore affected databases: SharedFields, UnversionedFields, or VersionedFields.
If this conversion is interrupted, the related items may not be updated properly, and the corresponding field values may be located across different Sitecore database tables. This inconsistency can lead to various issues for authors working with affected items. For example, field values may not update when an item is saved, or the content may not be published as expected.
If the conversion process is interrupted, perform the steps below. Note that, performing the following procedure may cause data loss in the items affected by changing field sharing properties. This applies only if changes have been made to those items after the failed conversion. At the end of the procedure, it is possible to see the list of the affected items and fields that need to be checked.
After performing these steps, all the field values should be stored in correct places and unexpected results of the interrupted conversion should be fixed.
