Description

When there are many media items (100+) stored in the same folder in the Media Library, it might be not possible to select an image in the Select Media dialog. In this case, the Select button remains disabled.

Solution

As a solution, consider one of the following options:

• Increasing the value of the "Speak.Html.RequireJsWaitSeconds" setting (for example, to 300 seconds) in the \App_Config\Sitecore\SPEAK\Sitecore.Speak.config file.
• Use buckets or consider restructuring the items to ensure it contains fewer child items. In general, for performance, it is recommended items have less than 100 child media items.
• Use the List View tab instead of the Tree View.
