Description

When previewing a page using Simulators, the page content might be blinking. The issue results in the STATUS_STACK_OVERFLOW error being displayed on the webpage.

This issue affects Sitecore XP 10.4.0 and XM Cloud.

Solution

To resolve the issue, for Sitecore XP 10.4.0, consider one of the following options:

• Upgrade your solution to Sitecore XP 10.4.1 or later.
• Download and install the pre-release as specified in KB1003424.

For XM Cloud, to prevent the issue, consider the following options:

• Preview pages in the Page builder and then switch to device mode using Chrome DevTools.
• Preview pages in the Experience Editor and then switch to device mode using Chrome DevTools.
