How to upgrade Managed Cloud Standard


Overview

The "Create Additional Environment for Migration" service request for deploying a new environment has been deprecated. Follow the procedure below instead.

Migration

The migration process is the following:

  1. Contact your account manager to create new slots.
  2. The account manager creates an internal service request Create Ad-hoc Activation for Managed Cloud that triggers the process of creating new slots by the Cloud Operations team.
  3. After that, you can create a new service request: choose Create New Environment with the new slot selected.
  4. After migration, you need to create a request to delete the old environment: use Delete Existing Environment.
  5. Then, contact your account manager to delete the old slots.
