Description

Microsoft ends support for .NET 6 on November 12, 2024.

It affects the following modules:

• Sitecore Identity Server 7.x module, compatible with Sitecore Experience Platform releases 9.1 - 9.3 and 10.x.
• Sitecore Publishing Service 7.0, compatible with Sitecore Experience Platform releases 9.1 - 10.4, by installing the release-specific Sitecore Publishing Service Module.
• Sitecore CLI versions, earlier than 6.

Consider upgrading the affected products to new versions that support .NET 8 in the Solution below.

Solution

• Upgrade the Sitecore Identity Server module in your Sitecore XP deployment to Sitecore Identity Server 8.x, which supports .NET 8.
• Upgrade the Sitecore Publishing Service module in your Sitecore XP deployment to Sitecore Publishing Service 8.x, which supports .NET 8.
• Upgrade your Sitecore CLI version to Sitecore CLI 6.x, which supports .NET 8.
