This article outlines the following specifics of the publishing process in XM Cloud:
To schedule publishing, specific items can be configured with publishing restrictions. However, specifying a date range for when an item or item version is publishable does not automatically publish the item on the start date and remove it on the end date. Instead, it makes the item available for publishing and includes it when the item or the entire website is published. To ensure an item appears on your website on the start date and is removed on the end date, the Publish Item wizard must be run on both days.

A media file (blob) might not be published or available on Experience Edge and might return the following error when requested:
Specified blob does not exist
This behavior is expected and occurs after publishing content from the XM Cloud tenant to Edge due to the media item size limitation.
To ensure the proper publication of a media item with a media file (blob), reduce the size of the problematic blob.
As an alternative, consider using Content Hub, which allows uploading files up to 50 GB each for large media files.
