Description

In Sitecore Forms, the mandatory File Upload field might require a file upload even if the field is hidden in some conditions. The validation fails and this results in the form not being able to be submitted.

Solution

To resolve the issue, consider the following options:

• Upgrade your instance to Sitecore 10.3.0 or later.
• For 10.2, download and install the corresponding cumulative hotfix available in KB1001439
• For 10.1, download and install the corresponding cumulative hotfix available in KB1001300
• For 10.0.1, download and install the corresponding cumulative hotfix available in KB1001334

Alternatively, you can use the File Upload field as the optional one.
