Description

To join an organization on the Sitecore Cloud Portal, a user must accept an email invitation. On clicking Accept invitation in the invitation email, the user gets redirected to the Sign-up page. If the user already has an account, they need to click the Log in link and enter their email address and password. The issue occurs if the user clicks the Forgot password? link:

A password reset email might not be sent to the user after clicking the Forgot password? link. The root cause of the issue is the third-party vendor that the system relies on.

Solution

To reset the forgotten password:

1. Go directly to the Sitecore Cloud Portal at https://portal.sitecorecloud.io/.
2. Enter the email address and click Continue.
3. Click the Forgot password? link.
4. Check the email address and click Continue.

The password reset email will be sent shortly.

Important note: After the password has been changed, open the invitation email once again, accept the invitation, and enter the valid password on the Login page.
