Description

The versioned image might disappear from a page after saving it in the edit mode of the Experience Editor. The issue occurs for versioned images that do not have a version in the default language en.

Solution

To address the issue:

• Open the [your website]\App_Config\Sitecore.config file.
• Set the value of the setting languageEmbedding to always in the <urlBuilder> configuration node:
