Description

Using the Link to another item resolution option in the Breaking Links dialog might change Rendering Parameters value to a new one even if the value does not have a broken link.

Solution

To resolve the issue, consider one of the following options:

• Upgrade your solution to Sitecore XP 10.2 or later.
• For Sitecore XP 9.1.1: download and install the corresponding cumulative hotfix available in KB1001330.
• For Sitecore XP 9.0.2 and earlier, download and install the patch compatible with the affected product version found on this page: https://github.com/SitecoreSupport/Sitecore.Support.205771/releases/tag/9.0.2.1
• For Sitecore XP 8.1.1 and earlier, download and install the patch compatible with the affected product version found on this page: https://github.com/SitecoreSupport/Sitecore.Support.205771/releases/tag/8.1.1.1
