Description

Alias items might be created in the language of the Sitecore Client instead of the target item language. As a result, URL aliases might not be resolved for the language version of the website (if you publish content items, or a site, only in this particular language).

Solution

To resolve the issue, consider one of the following options:

• For Sitecore XP 9.0.1 and earlier, download and install the patch compatible with the affected product version found on this page: https://github.com/SitecoreSupport/Sitecore.Support.111960/releases.
• For all the versions, you can always select the English language when performing a publish operation.
