While Sitecore supports Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) in different Azure infrastructures, Sitecore XP has not been tested with Azure App Service Environment (ASE) .
Sitecore has core requirements for running Sitecore XP, which can be found in the Sitecore Compatibility Table. If Sitecore XP is running in an environment meeting the core requirements, then Sitecore will support XP through a shared responsibility model whereby Sitecore will support the Sitecore XP application in case the customer provides the host environment expertise.
With ASE, it is required to be familiar with ASE and its configuration. Sitecore will not troubleshoot or answer questions regarding ASE configurations. When experiencing any difficulties with running XP through ASE, Sitecore will assist only with the Sitecore XP configuration.
