Description

The Details and Reset buttons (in the Layout group, in the Presentation menu) might become disabled in the Content Editor. The issue occurs if the value of the RequireLockBeforeEditing setting is set to "false." The issue affects any users other than an administrator.

Solution

Consider one of the following options:

• To resolve the issue, upgrade your solution to Sitecore XP 10.4.0.
• To enable the Details and Reset buttons, set the value of the RequireLockBeforeEditing setting to true by creating a configuration patch file in the \App_Config\Include\zzz folder.
