Description

After submitting a form, built with the Sitecore Forms application, the following message might pop up:

Your session has expired. Please refresh this page.

The issue occurs if using the Redirect to Page or the Redirect to Url submit actions.

Note: If using multipage forms, not all field values might be saved to the database.

Solution

To resolve the issue, consider one of the following options:

• Upgrade Sitecore XP instance to Sitecore XP 10.1.2 or later.
• For Sitecore XP 10.1.0 and XP 10.1.1 download and install pre-release as specified in KB1001300.
