Description

Errors similar to the following might appear in the search logs when applying personalization to Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) rendering:

ERROR Solr Error : ["undefined field local"] - Query attempted: [local:(\/Data\/test)]

It occurs if the associated datasource contains the local: prefix. 
The issue does not affect SXA 1.8.1 and later versions.

Solution

To resolve the issue, consider one of the following options:

• Upgrade Sitecore XP instance to Sitecore XP 9.1.1 and SXA 1.8.1 or later.
• Download and install the corresponding cumulative hotfix compatible with the affected product version available in:
