In the Experience Profile, searching for a contact might return no results if search criteria contain the first name and the last name of the contact.

Solution

To resolve the issue, consider one of the following options:

• Upgrade a Sitecore XP instance to Sitecore XP 10.0.0 or later.
• For Sitecore XP 9.0.1 and earlier, download and install the patch compatible with the affected product version found on this page: https://github.com/sitecoresupport/Sitecore.Support.222698/releases.
