Description

Dragging and dropping items that are stored in an item bucket might fail so that the order of the items in the item bucket is not changed.

Solution

To resolve the issue, consider one of the following options:

• Upgrade your solution to Sitecore XP 10.4.0 or later.
• For Sitecore XP 8.1.0–9.0.2, download and install the patch compatible with the affected product version found on this page: https://github.com/sitecoresupport/Sitecore.Support.98033/releases.

Alternatively, move items in the item bucket by using the Sorting feature (from the Home tab or by invoking it from the context menu).
