Description

Select Media dialog might not respect the content language. This results in displaying media items in all language versions regardless of the current language version.

Solution

To resolve this issue, consider one of the following options:

• Upgrade Sitecore XP instance to Sitecore XP 10.1 or later.
• For Sitecore XP 8.2.4-9.0.2, download and install the patch compatible with the affected product version:

• Download and install the hotfix compatible with the affected product version:
  
  • For Sitecore XP 9.2: SC Hotfix 451751-1 Sitecore.Speak.Applications 4.0.0.zip
  • For Sitecore XP 9.3: SC Hotfix 420320 Sitecore.Speak.Applications 5.0.0.zip
    Be aware that these hotfixes were built for specific Sitecore XP versions, and must not be installed on other Sitecore versions or in combination with other hotfixes.
    The ZIP file contents need to be extracted to locate installation instructions and related files inside. The hotfixes must be installed on a CM instance and then synced with other instances using standard development practices.
