 Editing components properties in the Experience Editor might scroll the page to the top. 

Solution

To resolve the issue consider the following options:

• Upgrade your Sitecore XP instance to Sitecore XP 10.3.
• For Sitecore XP 9.3, download and install the corresponding cumulative hotfix available in KB1001332
• For Sitecore XP 9.0.2, download and install the patch found on this page:
  https://github.com/SitecoreSupport/Sitecore.Support.163934/releases

Alternatively, for preventing the page from scrolling to the top:

• Open the [website folder]/sitecore/shell/Page Modes/ChromeControls.js file
• Add "!" after "#" to the anchor href attribute in the corresponding lines, for example:

  var row = $sc("<a href='#!'></a>");
