Description

Editing the SXA page in the Experience Editor might cause the loss of renderings in composite renderings. The issue occurs after saving changes in composites.

For example:

• Adding a Snippet rendering with components in it on the page and updating the style settings of the Snippet rendering.
• Adding the second Accordion or Tabs component via a Snippet rendering.
• Changing style settings for the second Accordion within a Snippet rendering.
• Editing parent Tabs components and Accordions in the Experience Editor results in the child renderings disappearance.

Solution

To resolve the issue, consider one of the following options:

• Upgrade Sitecore XP instance to Sitecore XP 10.1.0 or later.
• Download and install the corresponding cumulative hotfixes:

  • For Sitecore XP 10.0.0: KB1001755.
