Unhandled exception in core and graph services delays Index and Audits update


Description

The issue happens when the service responsible for the updates encounters a fatal error from which it is not able to recover without manual intervention, but it appears to function normally even though the index updates are not properly processed. As a result, recent updates or newly imported data are not available within the Index. This might lead to delays in business activity or the inability to access the data via search pages, facets, or full-text search. Business audits or Raw audits updates might be delayed as well.

The issue can affect Sitecore Content Hub 4.0.x and 4.1.x.

 Raw audits not updated

The audit queue will be built up until the manual restart of the service by Sitecore Support.

 Business audits not updated

The business audits will not be reflected until the manual restart of the service by Sitecore Support. There is a risk of business audits loss, while raw audits remain accessible and not impacted.

 Search, Full text search, Facet

The updates will not be reflected until the manual restart of the service by Sitecore Support.
