Description

When adding a rendering to the page in the Experience Editor, the Select the Associated Content dialog box might display a data source location that is different from the value set in the Datasource Location field. The issue appears if the page has a child item.

Solution

To resolve the issue, consider one of the following options:

• Upgrade a Sitecore XP instance to Sitecore XP 10.0.0 or later.
• Download and install the latest cumulative hotfix compatible with the affected product version:
