Description

This article describes how to request temporary disabling of the Sitecore Managed Cloud owned alerts in Azure. The alerts will be automatically enabled after the time of disabling expires.

How To Submit A Request

To request temporary disabling of Sitecore Managed Cloud alerts, submit the Disable alert notifications service request via the Sitecore Support Portal (more information here). 

 

The following data must be provided: 

• Account (Where alert notifications should be disabled).
• Slot (Where alert notifications should be disabled).
• Resource Group (Where alert notifications should be disabled).
• Disable Duration Unit (Day, Week, and so on).
• Disabling duration (number of days, weeks, and so on, when alert notifications should be disabled).
  Note: the default value for the Disable Duration Unit and Disabling duration fields are set to disable alert notification for two weeks.
• Selected alerts (Dropdown check-list of alerts which are available  in the selected resource group. Select the needed alerts).

Disabling an Alert For Less Than A Day
