Description

With Sitecore Data Exchange Framework installed on Sitecore XP instance, creating a new tenant in a certain content language might result in the creation of the tenant in a different content language.

For example, creating a tenant in Chinese will create a tenant in English.

The issue affects Data Exchange Framework 6.0 and earlier versions.

Solution

To resolve the issue, import language translation that can be found in the Data Exchange Framework zip-package at \files\temp\Data Exchange Framework to both core and master database. To that end, perform the following steps after the Data Exchange Framework package installation:

1. Log in into Sitecore XP instance.
2. Go to the Launchpad.
3. Click the Control Panel button.
4. Go to the Localization section.
5. Click on the Import languages option.
6. Write the name of the language file or click Browse to choose the location of the language file.
   
   
   
   
7. Click the Next button.
8. Choose the languages to import from the translation file.
   
   
   
   
9. Click the Next button.
10. Select Database as core and click the Next button.
    
    
    
    
11. Click Import.
12. Click the Finish button after the import has been completed.
13. Repeat the previous steps for master database.
    
    
    
    

Note: For any connector like Dynamics CRM Connect, Salesforce Connect, Sitecore Connect for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, it is needed to import the language translation separately, using the above steps. Language translation can be found in the Connector zip package, for example, in \package\files\temp\Dynamics Connector.
