Description

Sitecore released a new version of the Knowledge Base at https://support.sitecore.com/kb.

The new version of the Knowledge Base is designed to improve user experience and adds the following new features:

Former Knowledge Base at https://kb.sitecore.net/ is deprecated. Requests to the old portal will be redirected to the appropriate articles on the new site.

In case of technical difficulties with using the Sitecore Knowledge Base, please share feedback via email.

This section lists popular questions related to the migration to the new Knowledge Base website.

Q: Will the old links to articles work with the release of the new Knowledge Base website?

A: Links to articles hosted on the old website are still working. When accessing them you will be automatically redirected to the same article on the new site.

Q: I have an article number from the old Knowledge Base, e.g., 654910 or KB654910. How can I open the same article on the new site?

A: You can transform an old number by adding KB0 in front of it (i.e. 654910 => KB0654910) and use it in the following URL: KB0654910.
Alternatively, you may find the migrated article by searching for the numeric part (i.e. 654910) of its old number on the new site.

Q: How can I be notified about new articles such as in the Security Bulletins section?

A: On the new portal it is possible to subscribe to knowledge sections or to the specific articles. For this, please log in to the portal using the Login button in the top right corner of the screen. If you want to subscribe to a section, navigate to the home page and use a corresponding Subscribe button. To subscribe to a specific article, use a Subscribe button on the article page.
