Description

When a user selects an image in the Rich Text Editor and uses the "Insert Sitecore Link" button to link the image to a Sitecore item, a duplicate version of the image might be inserted. This typically only happens if the image is contained inside a floating div.

Solution

To resolve the issue, proceed as follows:

1. Select the duplicate version of the image (which contains the link) and press CTRL+X to cut it to the clipboard.
2. Select the original image.
3. Press Delete.
4. Press CTRL+V to insert the image with the link from the clipboard.
