Sitecore Support introduces the following tools for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading Sitecore solutions.
Analytics Database Manager (ADM)
The ADM cleans up the Analytics database, rebuilds the database indexes, creates a backup of the analytics data, and synchronizes the Analytics Definitions to replace the Analytics database with an empty one.
Sitecore Azure Tools
Azure tools are used for managing data in Azure Application Insights and Azure Search, using Microsoft REST API. These tools allow retrieving Sitecore XP logs (traces, exceptions, requests) and indexes from Azure Search.<
Sitecore Instance Manager (SIM)
SIM is a great tool for managing your Sitecore instances. You can use it to install, locate, maintain, reinstall, and delete Sitecore products. It has an API and plugin engine, and you can extend it to meet all your needs.
Sitecore Log Analyzer (SCLA)
SCLA is a powerful tool for parsing Sitecore log files. It is designed for Sitecore administrators and developers who troubleshoot or monitor the health of Sitecore applications. The interface lets you explore and navigate through large amounts of log data. For instance, you can group and analyze all errors, warnings, debug, and audit messages logged by a Sitecore application, monitor performance counters, and get a visual overview of website uptime and downtime intervals.
It is also available as embedded into Sitecore Instance Manager (SIM).
