Description

The issue occurs when EXM tries to send multiple automated emails at the same time. If the same message is triggered multiple times in a short period of time, only one message is sent. The EXM log shows messages as follows:

ManagedPoolThread #12 16:07:59 DEBUG Job Sending message ([Job_ID]) already running. Not started.

This issue affects EXM 3.4 Initial Release - 3.5 Update-2 versions.

Solution

To resolve the issue, consider one of the following options:

• Migrate EXM to Sitecore XP 9.0 Update-1 or higher (recommended).
• Download and install the patch compatible with the affected product version found on this page: https://github.com/SitecoreSupport/Sitecore.Support.137266/releases.
