Description

When Sitecore MVC presentation is used on a Sitecore website, you can experience the following issues with multivariate tests:

1. If an MV test is set up, published and running, the presentation data source item contents may be shown to the website visitors instead of one of the test variations.
2. When changing the "Test Content Item" field value of the first variation in the "Test the Component" dialog box, the presentation data source item contents may be shown in the Page Editor instead of the first variation after clicking the "Save" button.

Solution

To fix the described issues, please download and install one of the following patches depending on your Sitecore version:

• For Sitecore 7.2 – 7.5 rev. 150130 (7.5 Update-1) - Sitecore.Support.412646.zip
• For Sitecore 7.5 rev. 150212 (7.5 Update-2) - Sitecore.Support.412646 (7.5 rev. 150212).zip

The patches are regular Sitecore packages. Use the Sitecore Installation Wizard to install the package.
