Description

In the Sitecore Experience Platform, it is possible to enroll users in an engagement plan by user name, for example sitecore\admin. This feature allows you to use user and profile information to configure engagement states.

However, some engagement plan conditions that check user-related information, for example "where the current user is a member of the … role", may not work when a timeout trigger is used to transfer the user between engagement states.

Solution

To resolve this issue, apply the patch below.

For Sitecore 6.5 - 7.2:

• Put Sitecore.Support.380257.dll into /bin folder
• Put Sitecore.Support.380257.config into /App_Config/Include folder

For Sitecore 7.5 - 8.1:

• Put Sitecore.Support.380257.xDB.dll into /bin folder
• Put Sitecore.Support.380257.xDB.config into /App_Config/Include folder
