Sitecore has a number of applications that use Microsoft Silverlight. When you use Mozilla Firefox version 52 or later to access one of these applications, you can see that some content is missing.
The support for Silverlight in Firefox has been deprecated. For more information, see the following article: Firefox 52 release notes.
To view an application that uses Silverlight, please use Microsoft Internet Explorer or Apple Safari.
The following applications currently use Microsoft Silverlight:
- Engagement Automation [1]
- Path Analyzer [2]
- Sitecore App Center [3]
- Executive Insight Dashboard [4]
- [1] Engagement Automation has moved to Marketing Automation functionality that does not depend on Silverlight since Sitecore XP 9.0 Initial release.
- [2] Path Analyzer is fully HTML5 compliant in Sitecore XP 8.2 Initial release and later versions.
- [3] Sitecore App Center has already been discontinued: https://apps.sitecore.net/.
- [4] Executive Insight Dashboard has been deprecated in Sitecore XP 8.0 Initial release and replaced by the Experience Analytics application (fully HTML5 compliant).
