Description

Field-level workflow validation rules must not pick the latest field value for validation. This might lead to a false-positive validation report in the Validation Results dialog with the 'Field "XXX" must contain a value' message.

Solution

To solve this issue, download and install the following patch (see the readme file inside the archive for installation instructions):

SC Hotfix 251191-1 CMS.Core 10.0.9.zip

Notes:

• The patch is applicable for Sitecore XP 8.2 rev. 180406 (Update-7) version only. To get a solution for any other version, contact Sitecore Support.
