Summary

This article provides instructions on how to view the consumption/usage of a customer's Sitecore Managed Cloud product.

Access The Consumption Reports

An overview of all Sitecore Managed Cloud consumption is available from the https://support.sitecore.com URL. From that screen, click the Cloud Consumption icon to view the consumption details.

Regarding access to Cloud Consumption, consider the following details:

• Only appointed Cloud Technical Contacts from the company have access to view Cloud Consumption of Sitecore Managed Cloud agreements.
• The appointed contacts are specified in the Managed Cloud contract. Customers can request an amendment of the appointed technical contacts by contacting their regional Sitecore office.

View Consumption Data

To access the usage data, select the Managed Cloud account from the drop-down list:

 

Select the Contract Date | ID and Period:

 

To view Provisioned Slots or Pool, toggle the Slot/Pool switch.

Note: The switch will define the set of filters below based on Slot or Pool selected. 

Historic data is organized by monthly consumption in a table on the left and data specific to a "slot" is available on the right. Selecting one or more Slot views on the right will update the monthly consumption table on the left.

In Provisioned slots, Total spend vs Period quota figures give a high-level cost summary for each slot.

Note: For Pool customers, the Period quota is Not Applicable.

 

You can filter the monthly consumption totals by PreProd, Prod, or All, and also filter by date. Clicking the chart icon presents a visualization of the consumption for the given period.

Note: The Slot/Pool switch will define the set of filters below based on Slot or Pool selected. 

This Usage line chart has a color-coded legend at the top and displays the consumption for each slot for the given Periods selected. Hide/Unhide the specific slot by clicking on its legend.

By clicking on the slot on the right side, you can further filter the consumption data presented in the table on the left.

A visualization of the slot-specific consumption is available from the Line chart icon on the right side of the screen.

Clicking this icon shows a line chart of the consumption for that slot against the period quota for the given time range.

Note: For Pool customers, the Period quota is Not Applicable.

Provisioned pools

Historic data is organized by monthly consumption in a table on the left and data specific to the pool is available on the right:

In Provisioned Pool, Total spend vs Period quota figures give a high-level cost summary for each Pool.

You can filter the monthly consumption totals by All, Premium, or Standard, and filter by date.

Clicking the chart icon presents a visualization of the consumption for the given period.

This line chart has a color-coded legend at the top and displays the consumption for each slot for the given time period. Hide/Unhide the specific slot by clicking on its legend.

By clicking on the pool on the right side, you can further filter the consumption data presented in the table on the left.

A visualization of the slot-specific consumption is available from the Line chart icon on the right side of the screen.
