The Analytics Database Manager (ADM) is a module that allows performing various operations with the collection database, such as:
- Removing contacts and interactions data.
- Viewing database statistics.
- Rebuild calculated facets.
Note: Analytics Database Manager is distributed as is, and is and not supported in the scope of the Sitecore Support Program.

Analytics Database Manager 9.0.0, 9.1.0, 9.2.0, 9.3.0, 10.0.0, 10.1.0 have been released.
Highlights:
- It is possible to remove interactions without contacts now.
- It is possible to specify a timeout for ADM operations on the Sitecore side now.
- Verbose logging was added for SQL queries that are executed.
- xDB Statistics tab shows the date when the statistics were retrieved.
- ADM checks if there is a newer version compatible with the current Sitecore version.
- An error message may be displayed if the button is clicked when the user session expires. This was fixed.
- ContactFacetsDataRemovingConfigurator.ContactShouldBeRemoved performance was improved.
- An exception might be thrown when the find outliers operation is executed if a database does not have much data. This was fixed.
- UI does not show "Rebuild of calculated facets is running" after xConnect restart now.

Analytics Database Manager 4.0.3, 4.1.3, 4.2.2, 4.3.0 rev 201212 have been released.
Highlights:
- It is possible to check if the contact is present in the database using ADM UI.
- It is possible to enable batched contact removing in Sitecore XP 9.0.0 — 9.1.0 as it works in Sitecore XP 9.2.0 and later.
- Generation tasks are run in parallel.
- Processing task runs in parallel for XConnectApiBasedTaskProcessor.
- SQL commands are retried if failed.
- xConnectConnectionProvider uses cache.
- "Xdb Contact Outliers" operation has been changed to be more stable if there are issues with xConnect API.
- ADM collects anonymous statistics about module usage. The feature can be disabled.
- Contact removing is not interrupted if the contact has too many interactions.
- ADM UI is loading if xConnect collection search is not responding.
- In some cases, an error might appear when "Remove single contact" is executed. This has been fixed.
- Some contact IDs are considered invalid by ADM UI. This has been fixed.
- After cancelling the "Remove historical data" operations, some tasks might still remain in the ADM.Tasks database. This has been fixed.
- Remove statistics is not calculated correctly in specific cases. This has been fixed.
- Cancel button is disabled on the "XDB Database statistics" and "Xdb Contact Outliers" tabs if the process is running.

Analytics Database Manager 4.0.2, 4.1.2, and 4.2.1 rev. 200327 have been released.
Highlights:
- It is possible to view the xDB statistics.
- Outliers (contacts with abnormal amount of interactions) can be found now.
- It is possible to remove multiple contacts by an ID now.
- Small bug fixes.
Analytics Database Manager 3.0.1 rev. 200401 has been released for Sitecore XP 8.2.5 — 8.2.7.
Highlights:
- In some cases, the The GuidRepresentation for the reader is CSharpLegacy, which requires the binary sub type to be UuidLegacy, not UuidStandard error appeared. This has been fixed.
- Optional FilterInteractionsForKnownContacts processor has been added.
October 22, 2019
Analytics Database Manager 4.2.0 rev. 191122 has been released.
Highlights:
- Remove process relies on 9.2 xConnect API now.
- Data can be removed from the collection database that uses mongo provider now.
- Cancelling the remove process resets the statistics before. This has been changed. It is now possible to see how many records had been removed before the cancellation was triggered.
- Failed responses that come from xConnect are displayed in a more user-friendly way now.
- Configuration refactoring has been performed.

Analytics Database Manager 4.0.1 rev. 190810 and 4.1.1 rev. 190810 have been released.
Highlights:
- Rebuild calculated facets functionality has been added.
- It is possible to define the range for removing instead of just cut-off date.
- Data for removed contacts is also removed from MA and Processing pools now.
- Configurable retrying has been added for SQL connections.
- Interactions were not retrieved with contacts as defined in the IDataRemovingFacetsConfiguration. This has been fixed.
- It is now possible to define if the contacts without interactions must be removed or not.
- UI shows correct messages now if there are no contacts in the databases.
- UI shows errors in a more friendly way now.
- Remove statistics shown in UI is now updated when the process is paused.
- Interactions were not removed from database for edge dates. This has been fixed.
- Logging and exception handling improvements

Analytics Database Manager 4.0.0 rev. 181221 and 4.1.0 rev. 181224 have been released. The module runs on Sitecore XP 9.0.x and 9.1.x correspondingly.
Highlights
- Remove all data for contacts that do not have interactions after the specified date.
- Remove all data for a specific contact defined by the contact ID or source and identifier.
