Description

In the Select Media dialog box, the Recently uploaded by me folder might not contain media items if they do not have versions in the current language.

There is the following scenario for the issue:

1. Upload an image to the Media Library.
2. Add an image field to the Home item.
3. Change the language to another one, for example, German.
4. Open the Home item and click Browse (Durchsuchen) above the image field.
5. Click the Recently uploaded by me (Kürzlich von mir hochgeladen) folder in the Select Media dialog box.

As a result, no media items are displayed.

Solution

To resolve this issue, consider one of the following options:

• Upgrade a Sitecore XP instance to Sitecore XP 9.2 or later (recommended).
• Download and install the patch compatible with the affected product version found on this page:
