Description

Media items uploaded using the Upload media dialog box are created in the current site language only, regardless of the language of the current item. For example, when the Content Editor is opened with the "sc_lang=nl-NL" query parameter, the uploaded media items are created in the "nl-NL" language even if a user has set another language for the media item.

Solution

To resolve the issue, consider one of the following options:

• Upgrade your solution to Sitecore XP 9.2 or later.
• Download and install the patch compatible with the affected product version found on this page:
