Commerce Server installation wizard may fail with an error similar to the following in the installation log:
Cannot add 'BuiltinAdministratorsSid' (SID='WinNT://S-1-5-32-544') as a member of the NT Group 'CSS Administrators'
For example, this error may occur when attempting to install Commerce Server directly onto the Dynamics AX demo virtual machine as a part of Sitecore Commerce powered by Microsoft Dynamics development environment.
This error occurs when Commerce Server is installed on a domain controller. This scenario is not supported.
