Description

When using the Send Mail save action in Web Forms for Marketers module, users may not be able to vary parameters of the email based on the language the visitor is using.

This issue occurs because the Save Action field of the /sitecore/templates/Web Forms for Marketers/Form item is Shared, therefore it cannot be versioned for different languages.

This issue affects WFFM 2.0 or later versions.

Solution 1

Use the Email Campaign Manager for sending out emails in different languages. 

As an example, the "Subscribe the Target Audience" save action can be used.

Solution 2

Apply the following customization:

1. Navigate to /sitecore/templates/Web Forms for Marketers/Form
2. Uncheck "Shared" checkbox for the Save Action field.

Important note: After this change, you must add Save Actions to each language version of the form item. This means that each language of the form item will keep its own list of Save Actions.
