How To EngageTo get started:
- Go to https://info.freightpop.com/four51 to register with FreightPOP and start the process.
- A FreightPOP representative will contact you to provide an overview of FreightPOP, set up your account, configure the system to your business needs, and conduct a brief training session for your team.
- Using the case system, you should then contact Four51 to implement (see process below) the integration with Storefront and you will be ready to start shipping better and saving money.
Four51 ImplementationOnce you are set up with your FreightPOP account, you should submit a case to Four51 support and request that Four51 enables the FreightPOP integration. If you have an existing XML feed coming from Four51, we will need to create a CMP (Custom Message Processor) to send the order information to FreightPOP in addition to your existing system. If you do not have XML enabled, Four51 will enable XML to FreightPOP. We will generally enable the XML or CMP on our test system first for testing the integration. Once you are satisfied with the testing, we can enable the XML and CMP on production.
The integration between FreightPOP and the Four51 Storefront platform will send order data from Four51 into the FreightPOP system. Shipping users can then use FreightPOP to rate shop, select the best carrier, generate labels and BOLS, ship the order and the system will send shipment data back to Four51 to complete the order and get the tracking number back to the end user. The integration provides seamless information exchange between the systems to eliminate errors and labor associated with manual order entry.
Workflow:
- Order submitted on Four51 and Order Request XML is sent to FreightPOP
- Order XML is received by FreightPOP and the order information and line items are added to FreightPOP
- FreightPOP creates shipment, generates labels, ships the items and FreightPOP will send the ship notice XML back to Four51 to close out the order and email the end user with the tracking number if enabled.
How to use Storefront and FreightPOP for 3rd-Party ShippingAs mentioned above, one of the huge advantages of using Storefront and FreightPOP is the ability to manage your 3rd-party shipping from suppliers using the exclusive FreightPOP FedEx program to get actual costs at the time of delivery, in-transit tracking to improve customer support and save additional money using standard business workflow. Every time you send an order from Storefront to a supplier, you can automatically include your FedEx number and tell the supplier to ship using your FedEx number.
The best way to make sure your FedEx number is included with every order to each supplier is to login to Storefront as an admin user, select Assign Ship method, select edit, and set the default account number to your FedEx number. This number will then be included in the supplier XML if the supplier has XML enabled or it will be included in the email that Storefront sends to the supplier.
Pricing
There are no fees from Four51 to enable the integration between Four51 Storefront and FreightPOP. There may be feed to enable XML or create a CMP. FreightPOP subscription pricing for parcel shipments is based on a per-shipment fee and pricing for LTL/FTL is based on a monthly subscription fee plus a per-shipment fee. FreightPOP will provide pricing.
Pricing for FreightPOP will be provided by your FreightPOP representative. The FreightPOP fees will be generally insignificant compared to the savings that most of our customers are seeing with rate savings and audit savings in addition to the savings achieved by automating the order input process and eliminating errors.
