Disaster Recovery, Encryption & Back-Ups

OneNeck’s ReliaCloud infrastructure hosting and disaster recovery service for Four51 is comprised of two main elements:
  1. A hosted, private instance of ReliaCloud in Eden Prairie, MN that is comprised of highly available virtual machines for Four51’s application workloads and a highly-available instance of MS SQL Always on Availability Group (AOAG) to support Four51’s primary database workload
  2. A smaller, hosted private instance of ReliaCloud in Des Moines, IA that is comprised of virtual machines running the same applications and utilities that Four51 has identified as critical to running their SaaS application.
Specifics include:
  • SQL database backups via Commvault
    • TLog backups every 12 minutes
    • Incremental every 8 hours
    • Full weekly and monthly
    • 35 day retention period (Time window for restoration point)
  • 2 AOAG replicas in primary datacenter.  If one server fails, the data goes live on the other
  • 1 AOAG replica in DR datacenter.  If primary replicas both fail, DR goes live
  • OS backups for file system
  • File System and VM backups daily
  • DARE enabled arrays
  • Nimble storage encrypts data at rest
Please submit a case if would like to request an abbreviated version of Four51's DR plan.

OneNeck has access to the Four51 environment because it provides both managed infrastructure and database services. Named OneNeck employees with security clearance are assigned to the Four51 account.

Change logs for hardware and network equipment, including patching and updating, incident management, configuration management and security management are handled in a Cherwell ticketing system.  Continuous monitoring for hardware ports, system performance thresholds, critical services, and event logs are part of the OneNeck managed service with escalation level notification to Four51 personnel.
