How to Set a Product to View Only:

This will require some customization to the product detail template and you will want to hide the option on this page called "Add to Cart."  To make edits to this page you will need to have some experience with editing HTML, to access the code for this part of the site first logon to Four51 admin environment.

From here select the buyer company from the buyer tab. Then under Products tab, select Product Detail Templates, on this page you will want to create a new PDT, start by clicking on "OrderCloud 2.0" this will provide you with the code for this page, you will want to copy out this code and place this in a code editing software such as Notepad ++.  Make your changes then paste the changed code back into the OrderCloud 2.0 tab on the admin environment. You will then want to name this new template, you can do this by entering the name of this template in the input field provided above these tabs next to the drop down selection titled "Name", you want to leave the drop down selection as "*New".


Once you have completed this step you will then want to apply this template to the product you wish to give this functionality to. Locate the product and on the"Properties" page, select this new template from the drop down titled "Product Detail Template" and this should do it. You would want to apply this template to every product that requires this.
