Four51’s Preferred Supplier Program (PSP) FAQ

What is the cost to participate in the Preferred Supplier Program?
The cost of the Preferred Supplier Program is $150 per month. This entitles you to: As an alternative to the $150/mo. program, Four51 offers a private supplier connection for $50/mo. (This can be distributor-paid or supplier-paid.) This option entitles the supplier to a single distributor connection. A second private connection can be added for another $50/mo. Supplier profiling and FTP file download are not included in the private option. Burst charges still apply.

What is the benefit to participating?
The PSP includes all the advantages you’re accustomed to with Four51’s supply-side technology, plus opportunities for Suppliers to market themselves to the Four51 distributor network. How big is the Four51 network? 
The Four51 Network is made up of more than 3,000 distributors, 37,000 buying companies, and 21M users.

How will distributors find me?
Use your full mix of marketing tactics, both traditional and social, to let distributors know that you are now Four51-enabled. In addition, with the recent release of new supplier-focused capabilities in the system, your profile will appear in a Four51 Supplier Search Tool. All distributors on the Four51 Network have access to this search utility from their Administrative Interface. Distributors enter their requirements and are presented with profiles of those suppliers on the Four51 Network that can help.

How do I create and manage my profile?
Follow the steps below to make sure you appear in the searches that best suit your production capabilities.
   1.   Log into your Supplier Interface.
   2.   Click on the "Admin" tab from your top line of links.
   3.   Click on the "New Supplier User" tab from the left line of links to set up a contact that would be best suited to receive inquiries from distributors.
   4.   Enter the information and save the new user.
   5.   Click on the "Edit Supplier Profile" tab from the left line of links.
   6.   Fill in your profile and click "Save".
   7.   You can make changes anytime by following the same process.

If I sign up for the PSP, how long am I committed?
The program terms are month-to-month. At any time you can cancel your participation by providing 30 days written notice.

What is a Line Item Order (LIO)? 
Four51 defines a line item order as an individual line on an order. If you were to receive an order with a business card, letterhead, and envelope the order would be comprised of three Line Item Orders.

What happens if I go over the monthly 199-orders threshold?
In any calendar month that you receive between 200 and 399 line-item orders, you will receive an invoice for an additional $350 in the next month's billing cycle.  If you receive between 400 and 599 line-item orders, you will receive an invoice for an additional $450 in the next month's billing cycle. If you exceed 600 LIO's you will be billed an additional $600.

How do I know if my company has joined the program?
If you are registered as a user on your company’s Four51 environment, you will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours of joining.

As a Distributor and/or an Administrative Interface user, where do I find the Supplier Search Tool?
Follow the steps below to find suppliers who are part of the Four51 Preferred Supplier Program.  As connected suppliers they can help you efficiently fulfill your clients orders.
   1.   Log into your Four51 Interface.
   2.   Click on the "Admin" tab from your top line of links.
   3.   Click on the “Supplier Search" tab from the left line of links.
   4.   Search by either using key words or specific criteria.
   5.   Click on the links of the suppliers you are interested in learning more about.
